Yasmine exceeding all of my expectations. Years after initially meeting Yasmine, I reached out to her just before the Covid pandemic. As we deliberated what we wanted, becoming more tentative with the pandemic and other personal reasons, Yasmine stuck by us. She is knowledgeable in a wide variety of real estate subjects, including investment properties, managing rentals, first home purchases, and relocation. Without being pushy, Yasmine provided us with facts that helped us make decisions in these competitive markets. I met Yasmine several years ago. She was forming a neighborhood group for some social activities. It provided great insight into how she is as person and as a professional. Yasmine helped me find and buy the house of my dreams in 2011. She really listened to everything I said I needed and wanted in a home in terms of neighborhood qualities, layout, and amenities and made sure I got to see a wide range of options throughout the process to help hone my ‘must have’ list and get more focused. She organized many tours where we would go look at many houses and she was helpful in pointing out pluses and minuses on houses that I was too inexperienced to see which definitely saved me from leaping toward a bad decision. When I found my perfect house, Yasmine spent her Saturday getting the offer to the listing agent and made sure that my offer would be accepted over the other offer on the table AND also keep me protected in case something came up during inspections. Yasmine has a great rolodex of people to do inspections and other consultations which made everything go super quick and also get me the info I needed to feel good about my purchase. The house was a short-sale and I think Yasmine’s persistent follow up made it move quicker than most (about 6 weeks) and the deal was super clean (I did not pay a lot of extra’s that many short sales come with). This was in 2011 and at one point I was getting tired of looking and thinking of waiting and Yasmine had the foresight to push me to keep at it as this was a good time to buy that would not last. I am so happy I kept at it as within 6 months of closing, prices in my neighborhood started zooming up and within a year the house was appraised for 20%. If I had waited, I would not have been able to afford this house or any in this neighborhood (Glenview, Oakland) I still LOVE my house and never have had one moment of buyer’s remorse and am so grateful I had Yasmine guiding me to this happy ending!

Yasmine worked tirelessly to help me find a home that worked for me. She was always available to take me to properties that she thought were a fit. She is a consummate professional. Now that I have found a home and our sale transaction is finished she was more than willing to help me find a contractor to do the remodeling. Yasmine took on a small property that needed some cosmetic/handyman help, and turned it into a fresh, clean sellable property for very little cost. Better yet, Yasmine found competent contractors, managed them and got low bids for us. The condominium was cleaned up, listed, and sold within 2 months of first contact with Yasmine. Finally, this property was in Rossmoor, and it was Yasmine’s first time selling there! She maneuvered through the bureaucracy and HOA requirements as if she already knew what was needed. I had my eyes set on an early 1900’s Victorian in Newcastle, CA that had never been listed. I contacted Yasmine to see if she could find ownership information on the property and to my surprise she did more! She convinced the owners to sell and the transaction was ratified in 2008. We recently moved from the East Coast and not knowing anyone locally, we decided to interview several realtors and chose Yasmine. Our requirements were 1) knowledge of the town especially experience raising children through all three school levels 2) connections to and good experiences with contractors, inspectors, etc. 3) a great eye for details and 4) great negotiation skills. Yasmine clearly understood the house we were looking for and focused our list of viewings on those houses, thus making our search very efficient. My husband and I have moved many times and worked with many realtors – Yasmine was definitely one of the best we have worked with. Yasmine is a very good listener and very attentive to my needs . I am very impressed with her mannerism. She is quite different from most other real estate agents I know. She knows the area well and also the properties in our subject. For the sake of brevity, we bought our dream first home when Yasmine was the selling agent. Our VA Loan was unlikely to get us into a home in that cash-money San Francisco Bay Area market but Yasmine encouraged her clients to give us a chance. We were so impressed, we asked her to resell it for us years later. Don’t hire her if you don’t want a salesperson who can do better than you at selling your home. Hire her if you’re willing to fully trust her integrity, skills, knowledge, and advice. She compassionately listens to your needs and is honest and professional with feedback. Most importantly, she was our lioness, a dominant advocate for us in a wild market. Her selling style is proactive, consistent, and rapidly opportunistic of timing and leverage. Our heads were spinning from the furious preparation and quick sale. Yet, the outcome was better than we could’ve hoped for because we did exactly what Yasmine told us to do. I only wish she could’ve helped us purchase on the east coast!

She built an outstanding rapport among herself, the seller, and me from the minute we arrived at the sales office and has continued to do so throughout the negotiations. She kept me informed and effectively resolved problems and issues. This is a category where Yasmine receives top marks in my book! She makes sure she stays in the loop on all communications among all parties. She is astute at knowing who should or should not see communications between me and her as my agent. Yasmine has pointed out things to me that I would never have known based on her experience – things that would make a significant difference in price and process that are invaluable to me. I feel confident in her ability to guide me through the process without question. She is astute at explaining complex issues related to the purchase in terms that are easy for me to understand. Her demeanor is always professional but with an underlying tone of an agent who truly cares about getting her client the best possible deal in the least amount of time. Yasmine even caught items that needed correcting during the final home inspection that I would have missed and made sure that they were put on the builder’s “fix-it” list. For someone like me who only had a little over a month to relocate from one coast to the other, this was of the utmost importance.
